This is a great movie to watch with your girlfriends a great romantic comedy.
It starts in London with Iris Simpkins Played by Kate Winslet who is a writer who in love with her college Jasper Bloom and being romantically involved with him and believing he felt the same way she finds out at the works Christmas party that he is engaged to be married. With her overwhelming love she cant handle her saddens and wants to get away. Meanwhile in Los Angles Movie Trailer maker Amanda Woods (Camron Diaz) Has found out her boyfriend Ethan has been cheating on her she ends there relationship that hasn't been going well for a while as she has the inability to shed any tears when she cries. With Amanda feeling hard done by she wants to get away and have a vacation somewhere she can forget about her troubles. She comes across a website were you can estrange your house meaning you swatch your house they stay at your house and you stay at there's. She comes across Irises house with both women feeling like they need a break the book the tickets and leave the next day to switch houses.
With both ladies trying to get to grips with the properties and learning their way around. They both choose to vacation to get away from men and without knowing or wanting to start to be attract to the men they meet. With Iris in LA and Amanda in Surrey Will it just be a friendly encounter of will they fall in love.
Set around Christmas this is a great movie to still have that festive feel but is more about the romantic side, This is a lovely movie I really like the fact that they switch and how they have to adapt to each others lives I am a big fan of this movie ant tell you how many times I've seen this movie.
This one of my favourites rom-com to watch i love it.
