Christmas With The Kranks, Christmas Movie Night.

Here is a great all for the family movie classic that I love watching this Christmas season's.

The film is set to the run up to Christmas everyone's in the festive spirit buying gifts, card writing, decorating there tree and house. But for the Luther and Nora krank (Tim Allen and Jamie Lee Curtis) it's a different story there only daughter Blair leaves to go to Peru and will not be back for Christmas it will only be the two of them. When Luther see's an opportunity to get away for Christmas and enjoy a luxury cruise and save money he tells Mrs Krank with one exception that they skip Christmas boycott the festive season all together after Nora accepts, it's all set for sail for leaving on Christmas morning.

With preparations for the Vacation the neighbours start to notice that they have no decorations up The scouts Christmas tree turned down and not involving them selves in any festivities. The neighbours start to turn on them and bombard them with calls and telling the ward boss of the street it makes for a hard time for the Kranks not able to leave without someone trying to persuade them to put up there Frosty a giant snowman that every house in the street puts up on the roof a festive street tradition. But with Luther being stubborn he will not allow Frosty to be put up. Every house has their festive feel and the Kranks house it in the dark. On Christmas Eve it's all go for the trip the next day they are packing next thing there daughter Blair calls and surprises them with her coming home for Christmas. There is no chance for them going on their trip. With their daughter expecting to come home in time for their annual Christmas eve party that's been cancelled everyone of their friends have already made plans and no Christmas tree no frosty no food/drink no guests and Blair non the wiser and expecting to come home and enjoy the party. It ends up being the neighbours they are needing help from. But will the neighbours want to help them out or won't they??

This is a fantastic film with the comedy side and neighbourly feeling its a great festive family film. Festive feeling with lots of laughter even though there not wanted to participate in anything involving Christmas you still feel Christmassy a great balance.
