Essie 3 Coats Swatches

I love nail polish but these are the first Essie nail polish I have purchased. So I thought I would do a 3 coat swatch and blog it. I found these Essie polishes in TK MAXX and could not believe the price the price of Essie nail polish is £7.99, But I paid £3.99 each.

This is called Mod Square, It's a lovely very girly pink tone.

This is called Style Hunter, A much deeper pink is has a reddish tone to it but a lovely shade.

This is called Fashion Playground, This is a light mint pale green with little shimmer silver glitter.

This is the 1st coat.
(From left to right)
Mod Square - Little streaky covers really well. Dries quick and gives a good shine can get away with one coat. But would be better with two. Has a small round brush.
Fashion Playground - Is a very light colour, Its very streaky one coat wouldn't give you the coverage or the colour you would want for this polish. Dries quick, gives a good shine. Has a small round brush.
Style Hunter - Has a reddish tone to the colour. Covers really well no streaks, it has a wide brush and is really nice to use. Dries quick has a nice shine and smooth finish.

2nd Coat.
(Left to right)
Mod Square - Still a little streaky would do better with 3 coats. But dries really good.
Fashion Playground - Love the colour. With this polish always apply at least 2 coats as it gives a true colour.
Style Hunter - Covers fully no steaks really nice finish, looks good.

3rd Coats
After the 3rd coat ALL of the polishes cover the nails really well and gives a really good shine to them. They are really smooth but they do stay a little tacky for a while, just make sure you give them time to dry.
I will be buying more nail polish from Essie. I love there colour range. They have so many colours it gives everyone a chance to find a colour they like.
